Camp Tanuga

Camp Tanuga offers a one-of-a-kind lakeside wedding experience in Northern Michigan. Set on 150 private acres along Manistee Lake, our venue provides couples with exclusive use of the property for a full wedding weekend surrounded by nature.

Many couples choose to exchange vows along the lakes shoreline before celebrating with family and friends in our spacious rustic barn reception space, which can host up to 250 guests. The property offers a variety of scenic indoor and outdoor locations for ceremonies, receptions, and photos.

Guests can stay right on site, with accommodations for up to 100 overnight guests. Bears Den Lodge features 8 rooms sleeping up to 32 guests, with additional renovated rustic cabins offering a comfortable camp-style experience.

Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy campfires, bonfires, canoeing, swimming, and courts for tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball. Camp Tanuga primarily hosts weddings in the beautiful Northern Michigan fall season, creating a relaxed and unforgettable destination wedding weekend.
