Listing policy

We built CampVows to be the ultimate camp wedding venue search. To keep providing couples and camp venues like you with an exceptional experience, it is important that all listings and content on our site is truthful, helpful, and safe.

The short of it: You agree that any and all content you submit (or we submit on your behalf) to our website is accurate, appropriate, and your own. You also agree that we may use or modify your submitted content to enhance or promote our brand as needed.

Venue agreement

By signing up and listing your camp venue on our website, you certify that:

• Your venue is an authentic camp, retreat center, or a similar outdoor-focused venue designed to host weddings that embrace a genuine, non-traditional “wedding in the woods” experience.
• You are authorized to manage the listing of this venue
• Your listing accurately reflects your venue
• You have all the necessary rights and consent required to use any content or media (including photos) submitted to us
• Your listing and submitted content complies with our content guidelines (listed below)
• You understand our refund policy (listed below)

By signing up and listing your camp on our website, you understand that:

• We allow one listing per property (unless otherwise agreed upon with us)
• CampVows reserves the right to modify, remove, or delete any content or listing at our discretion with or without prior notification to you
• CampVows takes no ownership of the content you submit
• CampVows is not responsible for any copyright claims that relate to content you’ve provided
• You grant CampVows permission to use any content you submit or we submit on your behalf (including photos) in any way including but not limited to blog posts, advertisements, usage in our conference banners, email blasts, etc.

By signing up and listing your camp on our website, you further agree that:

• CampVows is not liable for anything that may occur at any camp venue found through our directory. Couples are responsible for fully researching and vetting venues prior to booking with them.
• CampVows will take all reasonable precautions to protect your data but–like any online service–we cannot guarantee total security and any data you transmit is done at your own risk.
• Our listings are subscription-based, with annual billing. Your credit card will be charged once a year unless you cancel or downgrade through the Stripe customer portal. You can manage your subscription anytime using the link in your dashboard or original confirmation email.
• Our yearly subscription prices are subject to change. Any price increase will apply only upon renewal, ensuring current subscribers maintain their existing rate until their next renewal date.

Content guidelines

Any content submitted to us must meet the following guidelines and we retain the right with reasonable discretion to modify or remove whatever content we decide does not meet these guidelines:

• No unlawful, misleading, obscene, or harmful content may be submitted
• All applicable URL links must direct to their purpose (ie – your website link can only direct to your camp’s website)
• All image must be text free and relevant to your venue
• Venue names cannot include emojis or additional text to increase SEO (ie – ‘Camp Perkis – Top Premiere Venue)

Refund policy

Venues have 5 days from signing up to request a full refund. No refunds will be given after that.
